We all know how important our kitchen is. It consists of items that will potentially end up in our stomach. With that being said, we should always keep our kitchen squeaky clean and sanitised.

- Always scrub cutting boards with hot water and soap. Rinse and dry it thoroughly. Never submerge it in a sink of water! Wood is extremely porous, so it will just soak up water, causing the cutting board to crack when it dries.
- Use vinegar to disinfect your cutting boards or counter top after use. Vinegar is a good disinfectant and is effective against harmful bugs. It is especially good for people with chemical allergies.
- Try hydrogen peroxide. It is a pretty efficient bacteria killer. Use a paper towel to wipe any surface on your kitchen with hydrogen peroxide.
- Wash your hands after dealing with food. This is especially important when handling raw meat, as they contain a lot of bacteria. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap to prevent touching and contaminating other parts of the kitchen.
